Shothole Canyon

Road turnoff 14km south of Exmouth on the Exmouth Minilya rd. An unsealed road will lead you through the bottom of the canyon. This canyon was neamed after the shotholes left by the explosive charges that were set off during the exploration for oil in the 1950's. The canyon walls exhibit colourful rock layers which lend themselves to great photography.
