This includes GST, tournament shirt, briefing session meal, pizza and pasta night meal, presentation night dinner, debrief b'fast.  Each team also receives a boat bag full of extra goodies.

Gamex is Western Australia's premier game fishing tournament and is being held in March. This year we have created a friendlier atmosphere at the weigh station with nightly angler, skipper and sponsor prize draws. Breakfast and Evening meals available for purchase each day. Please check the Exmouth Game Fishing Club official website for rule changes, entry forms and general schedule.

Events April 2010

Whalesharks
Date: April to July 2010

From approximately April to July the Whalesharks visit the waters surrounding Exmouth. They generally arrive just after the second coral spawning until the end of June or beginning of July but being a natural occurrance there are no set dates. The Whalesharks congregate to the Ningaloo Reef to feed on microscopic creatures known as zooplankton, which gives many international and national visitors the chance to snorkel and dive with the worlds biggest fish.   Costs range from $360 - 395 approximately depending upon location, company, hire equipment, and the optional reef dive. Anzac Day

Events May 2010

Manta Rays
Date: May to November 2010

Manta Rays can be seen yearly at Coral Bay or between May to November in Exmouth. They migrate in huge schools over the May to November months and snorkellers and divers can use the opportunity to swim with these playful creatures. Exibald 2010

The Exibald was created by Teressa Miller in 2006, member and founder of the Exmouth Cultural Arts Centre.  The idea originated to inspire artists to depict and honour local community minded individuals whilst appreciating the hardships of progress in the Northwest.  This event was launched under the banner of the 2006 Ningaloo Whaleshark Festival and has continued to be a highlight of this well advertised and popular event.

Whaleshark Festival 2010

Now a Bi annual Event - Bar, bands, food stalls, raffles, competitions and games to welcome the arrival of these gentle giants.

The Ningaloo Whaleshark Festival is a community organised event highlighting the community's relationship with the whaleshark. The Festival's objective is to bring together all Government departments, Industry and Community Members to promote new partnerships, enhance education and awareness concerning the protection of the whaleshark and its environment, to share and learn from each others experiences, new advances in technolog, ideas and research and most importantly to communicate these urgent issues through networking with one another. The festival is jam packed with entertainment displays, workshops, exhibits, photographic/art competitions and music.

Humpback Whales
Date: July to November 2010

Humpback whales visit the Ningaloo Reef between July ( can be as early as June)  to November each year. The Humpback Whale is the fifth largest of the great whales and can weigh up to 40 tonnes. You can watch them roll around slapping their tails and fins or breaching out of the water to show off. Join one of the educational and fun tours or sunset sail to see these magnificent creatures. NAIDOC WEEK - Opening Celebration 4th to 13trh July 2010 - All Welcome to Exhibition Open 5th to 13th July 2010 Time: 3.00pm to 6.00pm <p>

Through hosting and corodinating an "Annual Art Award for Australian Aboriginal Artists" with the theme "Continuing Partnerships" we aspire to bring cultural awareness via community projects that will promote Aboriginal Customs, Tradition and Learning.  We choose to share our Indigenous Cultural Heritage with all communities, locally and internationally.  It is an annual event that was endorsed by the Traditional Owner and Custodian for the Yinigudura/West Thalanyji/Thalanyji Country within the Gnulli Native Title Claim the late Sydney Dale.
