Getting Around the Ningaloo Reef

There are several car hire companies that operate out of Exmouth. Most of the national companies such as Thrifty, Budget, Eurocar and Avis have offices here. The lovely staff at the Exmouth Visitor Centre are able to book your car hire through Allen's Car hire agency and What Scooters.

Allens provide Airport pick up/drop off, however they do charge a relocation fee from $30 each way during the week or $55 on a weekend or public holiday. There are many types of vehicles that you can hire, from small mazda 121 vehicles to larger Ford Falcon station wagons. 

Tours "N" Travel Ningaloo is an agent for Eurocar and provide airport pick up/drop off for a relocation charge of $33 each way.  They ave a vast range of vehicles available. 

Cars can be hired and driven to Coral Bay, which is 155kms from Exmouth. Vehicles cannot be dropped off in Coral Bay, they need to delivered back to the rental companies.

Another form of transport is by scooter. Tours N Travel Ningaloo is located in town and offer scooter hire and also offer scooter tours. These scooters can be hired for as little as $53/day.

Exmouth Bus Charters offer a transfer from Learmonth (36km south of Exmouth) airport to Exmouth and return. This shuttle service meets every flight and is available at a cost of $20 per adult one way and $10 per child (5-15yrs) one way. Transfers to accommodation outside the Exmouth townsite are also available, prices on application.

 Cape Taxi Hire offer transport to the Cape Range National Park as well as airport transfers

Coral Bay Adventures and Coral Coast Tours offer airport transfers between Learmonth and Coral Bay or Coral Bay and Exmouth. Prices start from $75 per person one way.
